Starting Out- What’s In It For Me?
The High Ropes Assault Course is a brilliant motivational tool, and within a group of people delivers a fun and exciting method for promoting team-building, communication, cooperation, goal-setting and leadership. For an individual, the course provides insight and skills of decision-making, self-confidence, trust and positive risk taking.
High ropes courses can be considered static or dynamic. A static course consists of participants safely attached to an upper wire, belay cable, with ropes and carabiners. On a dynamic course, participants are connected to a rope, which someone on the ground will be holding onto and belaying.
There are benefits with each type of course. A static course needs fewer facilitators, and more people can generally tackle the same course simultaneously. A dynamic course, however, allows for participants to be lowered to the ground much more easily and can double as an additional element in the challenge course as it promotes trust and communication between the participant and belayer.

At the Summit Centre, our course combines elements of both static and dynamic high ropes courses, so you get the best of both worlds!
So challenge yourself, your friends, family or colleagues, and get the adrenaline pumping on our high ropes assault course today!
